Breaking: FG Files 7-Count Amended Charge Against Nnamdi Kanu
Nnamdi Kanu, the arrested leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, has been charged with an amended seven-count charge by the federal government.
Touchaheart Nigeria reports that the new accusation, filed by the Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, includes allegations of treasonable felony and Kanu’s suspected involvement in terrorism.
On Thursday, the embattled IPOB leader will be re-arrested before trial Justice Binta Nyako.
Senator Ifeanyi Uba Demand To See Nnamdi Kanu In DSS Custody
Meanwhile, Senator Ifeanyi Ubah of Anambra North filed a suit in the Federal High Court in Abuja on Monday, requesting that the Department of State Services, DSS, allow him access to Kanu in jail.
