After being indicted on 12 counts, including two counts of felony attempted assault and a charge of reckless endangerment, the Bronx native pled not guilty at her arraignment in 2019.

Cardi is accused of planning an attack on the Wattley sisters, who were bartending at a strip joint in Flushing, Queens at the time.

During their altercation, the Grammy-winning performer and two of her close companions allegedly tossed glass bottles and drinks at the sisters, according to the sisters.

During the argument, one sister claimed that her head was smacked into the bar.

Cardi and her friends may face up to four years in prison if convicted.

According to court documents, Cardi B planned the attack on the bartending sisters over social media with two of her friends, Tawana Jackson-Morel and Jeffrey Bush.

The trio coordinated a date, time, and location to assault the sisters.

According to sources, the rapper planned the attack in retaliation for one of the sisters, whom she felt had slept with her husband Offset at the time.
