Touchaheart Nigeria reports that after gunmen attacked Abolongo Correctional Facility yesterday, Governor Makinde stormed the facility.
In Oyo State, suspected gunmen stormed one of the Nigeria Correctional Service’s (NCS) institutions.
The attackers assaulted the prison, dubbed Abolongo Correctional Facility, on Friday evening.
During the attack, the gunmen reportedly released all of the facility’s inmates.
According to information obtained by our correspondent on Saturday, the attackers assaulted the facility around 10 p.m. on Friday.
The assailants allegedly used grenades to gain entrance and free the prisoners.
