Following A Prop Gun Incident On His Movie Set, Alec Baldwin Has Canceled All Projects

 

Touchaheart Nigeria reports that Following the prop gun incident on the set of Rust, which resulted in the death of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins, Alec Baldwin is apparently “cancelling” all of his other projects.

 

The 63-year-old actor will “take some time to himself and re-center himself,” according to a source. “This is how he handles difficult times. Whenever something bad happens, in the short term, he removes himself from the public eye,” the source said.

 

It was additionally revealed that Baldwin was “hysterical and absolutely inconsolable for hours” after the shooting.

“Everyone knows this was an accident, but he’s absolutely devastated,” the source claimed. Baldwin was pictured outside the Santa Fe sheriff’s station on Thursday, “in tears,” after firing a gun on the Rush set, killing Hutchins and injuring director Joel Souza.

Rust Movies Productions LLC, the film’s production firm, issued a statement in response to the tragedy, with a spokesman claiming that staff members were “devastated.”

“We have halted production on the film for an undetermined period of time and are fully cooperating with the Santa Fe Police Department’s investigation,” they said.
