Nigeria’s leading sports betting company, betBonanza, has announced a partnership with super hype man and rap sensation, Slimcase, for a talent-discovery show tagged Nigeria’s Next Rated Rapper.
Touchaheart Nigeria reports that the show is a contest for supremacy in the rap music genre among up and coming Nigerian artistes, designed to discover the best rap artiste within the country’s broader music industry.
According to George Mbam, betBonanza’s Marketing Manager, the show is hosted by Slimcase on his Instagram page that boasts of over 2.3million followers.
Mr Mbam said entries have been called from upcoming rappers who wish to participate in the contest.
Speaking further, he said betBonanza expects thousands of entries, out of which top 20 performers would emerge to battle out a spot for the grand prize during three weeks of fierce rap Face-Offs.

He said viewers would have a chance to vote contestants of their choice to go into the weekly battle, while judges, led by Slimcase, determine the contestant with the best bars and flows.
“As a brand that is passionate about talents, we launched this show to recognize the underrated and unappreciated rap talent.
We want to showcase to Nigerians a music genre that has not received the buzz it really deserves all these years,” said Mr Mbam.
The winner of the contest will smile home with a cash prize and other exciting gifts made available by betBonanza.
Exposure to millions of rap enthusiasts in Nigeria and abroad also comes as one of the many benefits of participating in the contest. Before the grand prize, there would be weekly prizes for Face-Off’s winners.
Mr Mbam said it is possible for the grand prize winner to have won other amounts in the weeks that led to the final week,
The show kicks off Saturday, October 30 and will run for four weeks.
