Anambra Decide 2021: INEC Extends Voting By 1hr, Exercise Continues Sunday

 

In the Anambra governorship election, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has extended the voting period.

 

Touchaheart Nigeria reports that Dr Nkwachukwu Orji, the Resident Electoral Commissioner for INEC in Anambra State, declared that voting would be extended by one hour, from 2:30pm to 3:30pm.

He also stated that voting will continue on Sunday, and that a media briefing every hour will keep everyone informed as the election progresses.
