Anambra People Made An Excellent Choice – Ngige
The Minister of Labour and Employment, Dr Chris Ngige, has congratulated Professor Chukwuma Soludo of the All Progressive Grand Alliance, APGA, on his victory in the Anambra State governorship election on November 6.

Touchaheart Nigeria reports that the people of Anambra, according to Nigige, made an outstanding choice when they elected the former governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) as their new governor.

On Wednesday, the headquarters of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) named Soludo the election winner.
APGA received 112,229 votes, PDP received 53,807 votes, APC received 43,285 votes, and YPP received 21,261 votes.
Ngige congratulated Soludo on a landslide victory in the election, saying it was a triumph well merited, in a goodwill message released by his Media Office on Wednesday.
“Ndi-Anambra has spoken with this emphatic victory,” he stated. I knew that with his tenacity of purpose and drive, he would one day make it to the seat of Governor of Anambra State, having contested in 2010 with Soludo, who was then the PDP candidate, and myself in ACN; an election in which I was ‘awarded’ the second position even though I won outright and Soludo third.
“It’s a story of patience and endurance, of a desire to serve the people with all his might.
I really believe it. Ndi-Anambra As a result will not accept any excuses. Because so much has been donated, the stakes are quite high. However, knowing Soludo, I am confident that our people have made a wonderful choice in electing him.”
