WAEC Result 2021 Is Out, Check WAEC Results 2021 Here

The West Africa Examination Council (WAEC) has released the result of the 2021 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE).

Mr Patrick Areghan, the Head of the Council’s Nigeria National Office, said on Monday that a total of 80.56 percent of the applications had been fully processed, with 19.44 percent still being processed due to some issues being resolved.

Touchaheart Nigeria reports that according to Areghan, one million, five hundred and seventy-three thousand, eight hundred and forty-nine (1,573,849) people applied for the exam, and 1,560,261 people took it. The international examination took place simultaneously in all five Council member nations – The Gambia, Ghana, Liberia, Nigeria, and Sierra Leone – utilizing the same International Timetable.

Between August 16 and October 8, 2021, the investigation lasted seven weeks. We had major security concerns in the South East (IPOB and ESN sit-at-home orders) as well as banditry, abduction, insurgency, and other issues in the north and other regions of the country during this time. All of this, combined with the ongoing COVID-19 Pandemic, turned the exercise into a Herculean task.”
