Aisha Yesufu, a civil rights activist, says she would be astonished if Lai Mohammed, the Minister of Information and Culture, had said anything different about the Lagos state EndSARS panel findings.

Aisha claimed she was hesitant to respond to the Minister’s words because she believes he isn’t to be taken seriously in a video she posted on her Instagram page this morning. She said

‘I don’t understand. I should respond to Lai Mohammed or the statement that he made about the EndSARS panel findings? How would you be talking about Lai Mohammed? Who is Lai Mohammed? You don’t talk about serious things and bring in Lai Mohammed. For what? If it is comedy skit, yes is available but on serious issuess…..What do you expect from him? If he had said anything different, you would surprised now. I don’t have energy to waste on non issues”
