Another Victim of the Oxford High School Shooting Dies, BringingN the Total umber of Victims to Four

Touchaheart Nigeria reports that following the shooting at Oxford High School in Michigan, a 17-year-old boy has become the fourth student to die.

According to the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office, Justin Shilling died at McLaren Oakland Hospital in Pontiac about 10.45 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec 1.

He is the fourth victim of the high school shooting, which occurred on Tuesday afternoon.

Tate Myre, 16, Hana St Juliana, 14, and Madisyn Baldwin, 17, were the other three pupils killed on Tuesday (read here).

The alleged shooter, a 15-year-old kid, is still being held at a juvenile detention institution, where he is apparently refusing to cooperate with authorities.

Before the incident, the suspect allegedly shared photographs of the semiautomatic weapon he used to open fire on classmates and teachers to social media. His father had purchased the gun four days earlier.

“He came out with the intent to kill people. He was shooting people at close range often times toward the head or chest,” Sheriff Michael Bouchard said on CNN on Wednesday morning. “It’s chilling. It’s just absolutely cold-hearted murderous.”

Police said they were unaware of any threats made to the community before the shooting, but some parents and students said they heard rumors that something bad might happen.

Some parents even kept children home over fears something would occur, including Robin Redding whose son Treshan Bryant said he heard vague threats of a school shooting “for a long time now.”

Community members gathered Tuesday evening to Treshan Bryant mourn the lives lost in the school shooting.

A prayer vigil was held at Lake Point Community Church Michiganin Oxford, Michigan where. Community members prayed for the community and the families of those killed and injured.
