The Human and Environmental Development Agenda (HEDA Resource Centre), author of the “Compendium of 100 High Profile Corruption Cases in Nigeria,” has recalled the 5th edition of the publication due to printing error.
Although the recall was originally announced during the presentation of the Compendium on December 9, 2021, in Ikeja, Lagos, however, HEDA said, while most of the distributed copies were retrieved, a few others could not be recovered. Therefore, it urged those who may still have the recalled version to kindly return it to HEDA’s office as soon as possible.
In a statement issued in Lagos and signed by its Chairman, Mr Olanrewaju Suraju, HEDA said: “We have come a long way in producing the seminal publication which has continued to serve as an important resource material to all stakeholders in the fight against corruption both locally and internationally. Therefore, as an organization which will never compromise integrity, we take every error, however minute, very seriously.
Thus, HEDA added, “We are recalling the 5th Edition of the ‘Compendium of 100 High Profile Corruption Cases in Nigeria’’ due to printing error. We have also commenced a comprehensive review of the publication to further proof it of any such error however minute. Therefore, a reviewed version of the publication will be released in the first quarter of 2022.”
