Security Personnel In Togo are seen Abusing Some Nigerians In A Viral Video
A video of Togolese security personnel abusing Nigerians going through the country’s airport has gone viral.
Touchaheart Nigeria reports that according to unconfirmed allegations circulating on social media, a group of Nigerians traveling from the United States on Ethiopian Airlines had a connecting trip on Saturday, December 18 that would take them through Gnasingbe Eyadema International Airport in Togo. However, after receiving confirmed flights from the United States, airline personnel allegedly informed them that the jet was fully booked and that they would be unable to travel to Nigeria. This enraged them, and an argument began, culminating in a brawl.
Togolese security personnel were shown in the video holding two men and a lady on the floor in an attempt to apprehend them.
The appropriate authorities are yet to comment on the viral video.
