Electoral Bill: Buhari, APC Afraid Of 2023 Election – Gov Fintiri

President Muhammadu Buhari is working with his party, the All Progressives Congress (APC), to destroy democracy by sabotaging the Electoral Bill, according to Adamawa State Governor Ahmadu Fintiri.

Touchaheart Nigeria reports that Fintiri stated at an event in Mubi, a major town in the state’s northern region, that Buhari refused to sign the Electoral Act duly passed by the National Assembly out of fear that it would not favor the APC in the 2023 general elections.

“We are not surprised by the level of decadence brought into our system by this federal government: destruction of our economy, destruction of infrastructure, security, and youth development.”

“They are once again banding together to destroy our democracy by encouraging the President not to sign the electoral bill because they are afraid of 2023.”

“We are here in Mubi, the commercial headquarters of Adamawa, to receive back into our fold those decamping from the APC who are content with the infrastructural development of the PDP under my watch.”

Fintiri said after receiving members of the APC who decamped to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

He urged Nigerians to band together to put an end to the “conspiracy of some APC stalwarts who are plotting to destroy the country’s democracy and development.”

“We have to come together as a people to fight and rescue our democracy because it is the only way out,” Fintiri said.

Musa Bororo, a member of the State House of Assembly, was among those who officially switched from the APC to the PDP in Mubi.
