Widows Are Mandated To Pay Men To Sleep With Them For 7 Days, See Why

Cleansing courses where women are mandated to pay men to sl**p’ with them at night for up to 7 days after their husband’s death.

In Nyanza

Several men have turned to’sl**ping’ with dead men’s wives as a source of income. The widows pay the men to host them in their homes for up to seven days while they have ‘$*xx with them at night.

Alice Atieno, a 30-year-old woman from Siaya county’s Uyoma Kagwa village, awoke at 6:00 a.m. to prepare a meal for a man who is supposed to sl**p’ with her later that night as a way of cleansing her days after her husband died and was buried.

When a man dies and leaves behind a lady under the age of 60, this is like a communal order.

Since their fluids are supposed to mix to be termed a complete passage, the two participate in the act without protection.

According to Alice, it is her only option because she must shield her children from tragedies and, in the worst-case scenario, death, and engaging in sexual activity with a stranger will purify her of the soul of her deceased husband.

Alice must sleep with a cleanser before moving since she wants to build another house following her husband’s death, which means she must prepare food while she waits for a night of action in bed.

James Odawa Owino, a man who’sl**ps’ with widows in the county, claims to have turned it into a business and is now making a living doing so. He charges the women between $1500 and $15,000 depending on their financial situation.

He goes on to add that to prevent dying, he must spend the next seven days with the woman.
Odhiambo (not his real name) is HIV positive and makes a living by’sl**ping’ with women who have the same disease as him.

It’s usually a difficult task, and inebriated men are the ones who are chosen to carry it out.

He insists on being paid before starting the assignment because he was once denied pay because he enjoyed having “$*x” with the woman.

The ceremony must take place to sever the spiritual link between the living and the deceased husband to send the spirit of the deceased away.

The woman will be inherited with her in-law or a close relative to look after the children and provide companionship to the widow when she has been cleansed.
