2022 UTME: JAMB Announces New Date For Mock Exams
JAMB has set a new mock exam date for the 2022 UTME.
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced that the sample papers for the 2022 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) will henceforth be held on April 9 instead of April 16.
On Monday in Abuja, JAMB announced this in its weekly bulletin from the Office of the Registrar.
The modification was made after the board realized that April 16, as originally planned, was an Easter Saturday, a holy Saturday observed by Christians to mark the end of Lent before Easter Sunday.
The adjustment in date for UTME and Direct Entry (DE) registration, which was originally set for February 12 but began on February 19, has also impacted the exercise’s timetable, according to JAMB.
It did, however, advise all applicants who had enrolled and planned to participate in the mock exam to take note of the new date and prepare accordingly.
The registration period for the 2022 UTME began on Saturday, February 19, and will expire on March 26.
JAMB, on the other hand, has set the exam for May 6 to May 16.
