Pasha Lee, Ukrainian actor, Was Killed In Irpin, Ukraine, while protecting his country from Russian fire.
Lee, 33, joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine’s Territorial Defense Forces last week to defend his country against Russian attacks that have been ongoing since February 24. According to local sources, he was killed on Sunday in Irpin while being shelled by Russian soldiers occupying the city west of Kyiv.
On social media, the actor had been posting photos of himself in military uniform.
In a post to his Instagram account on Saturday, Lee wrote “For the last 48 hours there is an opportunity to sit down and take a picture of how we are being bombed, and we are smiling because we will manage and everything will be UKRAINE. WE ARE WORKING !!!”.
Meeting Of Classmates, a 2019 comedy, The Fight Rules, a 2017 sports action picture, Selfie Party, a 2016 action comedy, and Zvychayna Sprava, a 2012 comedy/drama, are among the actor’s credits.
According to Sergiy Tomilenko, President of Ukraine’s National Union of Journalists, he was also a host on the DOM channel and did dubbing work in films including The Lion King and The Hobbit. Lee’s most recent appearance was in the TV drama Provincial, which premiered in 2021.
According to the Associated Press, Russian bombardment continued on Sunday in Kyiv suburbs, including Irpin, which has been without power, water, or heat for three days. According to the New York Times, at least four civilians were murdered while attempting to flee the violence near the Irpin bridge.
