Touchaheart Nigeria reports that a pastor with Deeper Life Bible Church in Okehi Local Government Area of Kogi State, Momoh Victor Alimi, was killed by unknown assailants.
The Deeper Life pastor was said to have been hacked to death and his body placed in a pit by the killers.
On Match 10, the deceased was believed to be on his way home after a church service in the Okaito region of Kogi, along the Kabba-Okene road.
SP Williams Aya, a spokesman for the State Police Command, confirmed the event and stated three individuals had been apprehended in connection with the murder.
According to the PPRO, the body of the dead was discovered in a pit along the path of his church a few days after he was reported missing.
He went on to say that the command pursued the suspects and that intelligence led to the arrest of three of them.
The three suspects, he claims, are already being interrogated at the Criminal Investigation Department (CID).
He went on to say that the command would not reveal the identities of the suspects at this time since the police were still looking for other people.
