Dr Chinelo, Lady ‘shot’ During Abuja-Kaduna Train Attack ‘Dies’

 

Chinelo, a young medical doctor who claimed she was shot by terrorists on a train between Abuja and Kaduna on Monday night, has allegedly died.

 

Chinelo used her Twitter account, @nelo x, to post that she had been shot by terrorists and to appeal for prayers.

“I’m in the train . I have been shot please pray for me,” she had tweeted.

 

According to reports, the lady died as a result of her gunshot wounds.

 

Meanwhile, a number of Twitter users have expressed their sorrow at her passing, while also criticizing those who criticized her in her tweet.

 

“I just found out that Dr. Chinelo wasn’t able to make it. Dr. Chinonso Egemba, @aproko doctor, commented, “This is devastating on so many levels.”

“It’s the same people who defend this administration that came out to mock a fellow Nigerian who was shot on the train People who have no conscience, no empathy

 

“Dr Chinelo is dead now, are you happy?
Are your paymasters pleased with you?Vile, depraved beings! Scum of the earth.”

 

“We’ve seen it over and over again, they call themselves “patriotic Nigerians” but there’s nothing patriotic about them.

 

“Their loyalty is not to the country, but to their paymasters and ambition.

 

“They attack, bite, insult others who call out failing arms of the government. Shame.”

@I_Am_Ilemona, wrote, “All Chinelo said was “Pray for me.” That is all she said. She was then targeted and subjected to abuse by a group of vile and evil creatures. Cos she was shot and asked for prayers so she could survive.

 

“This thing hurt me to my marrows!!! You didn’t want to pray for her? Unlook!!! Scroll down!!! Move on!!! Instead you gathered in her mentions and cussed her out. Called her names. Made her spend he last hours being subjected to hate & vitriol because you don’t want your slave master to look bad.

Benkingsley Nwashara, @Benking452, “In two weeks time I’m sure this Abuja-Kaduna bound train bandit attack would have completely doused down. The victims forgotten. Everyone to his business, The defenders of this APC regime regained their voices etc.

In the meantime, the Nigerian Railway Corporation (NRC) has halted train service between Abuja and Kaduna as a result of the attack.

 

 

On Tuesday, the NRC issued a brief statement on Twitter announcing their decision.

 

“Dear passengers, due to unforeseen circumstances, Train operations along the Abuja-Kaduna route has been temporarily suspended. Further Communication would be given in due course,” the statement shared via @Official_NRC, read.

 

Terrorists blew a train off the rail track between Rijana and Katari in Kaduna State on Monday night and surrounded it, shooting intermittently.
