Man Kills Girlfriend, Slept With Corpse For Six Days- Read on to watch video…

Touchaheart Nigeria reports that a Lagos man, identified as Njokwu killed his girlfriend, Precious Okeke, left the corpse in the house, goes out and comes back to sleep with it for six days.

He was making preparations to bury the body when the bloated corpse’s stench gave him away.

One of Njokwu’s neighbors said the couple has always fought since he moved into the apartment in December 2021

Others at the Seaside Estate stated Njokwu had been acting strangely in the days leading up to his arrest, leaving home as early as 6 a.m. and returning late at night to sleep with his deceased girlfriend.

Speaking to Vanguard in an exclusive interview, the estate’s chairman, Segun Adewunmi; the house’s caretaker, Kelechi Uzoma, and some neighbours made startling revelations.

How It Happened;

A neighbor noticed movement and talking from over the fence that divided the house from an empty plot last Sunday as she was walking to church.

“What are you doing there?” she exclaimed to whoever was nearby. She couldn’t see them since the wall was too high and it was too dark.

A foul odor had pervaded the facility prior to then. The security guard had also inquired about Njokwu’s ‘wife.’ Njokwu informed him that she had gone on a trip.

When the woman who had previously disputed noises from across the fence returned from church, she phoned a few other people to tell them what had transpired earlier in the day, and they all agreed that something was wrong. As a result, they contacted the estate chairman.

Involving The Police;

When the estate chairman and his staff came, they grabbed a ladder and climbed over the fence into the vacant area, where they discovered the grave.

Bloodstained clothing and a plastic bag were also discovered. Maggots feasted on a woman’s braided hair tied to a piece of human skull and flesh within the sack.

This proved to them that a murder had occurred. As a result, they called the police.

It was discovered that Njokwu had rented a nearby hotel, where he was spending the day time, to return to the dead body in the night.

“The boy was arrested and taken to the Lamgbasa Police Station and during interrogation; he confessed that he killed his girlfriend six days ago.

“We learnt that the boy offered N6m to kill the case; we also learnt that he brought the girlfriend from the village and they just moved into the estate.”

Spokesperson of the state police command, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, who confirmed the incident said;

“Two suspects, Ifeanyi Njoku and Mbam Atunmufor, 36, have been arrested.

They have been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department, Yaba, for further investigation.

Njoku was the one that rented the apartment.”

Caught On The 6th Day; Neighbours Arrested

The night he was apprehended was said to be day six of the purported ritual killing. On her birthday, the lady was last seen at a party.

He was not inside when the cops came. They only had access to the plot where the grave was dug, and they only recovered the items there.

The caretaker, two female inhabitants of the residence, and a brother of one of the girls, whose pair of slippers was purportedly found at the graveyard, were all arrested by the police.

The four people arrested were escorted to the Langbasa Police Station to be questioned. While they were there, one of their neighbors informed them that they had seen Njokwu in a hotel near the AP Petrol Station.

The police were notified and told to come with their sirens. He was apprehended in this manner.

“She Was Stubborn”

He did not deny his conduct, according to neighbors, but admitted right away that he used her because of her stubbornness.

When he arrived at the station and saw his neighbors and caretaker, he informed the officers that the persons arrested had nothing to do with the incident and that they should be released.
