The Autopsy Report For Late Ekwueme Singer Osinachi Is Out
Touchaheart reports that the autopsy report of Osinachi Nwachukwu, the late lead vocalist of Dunamis International Gospel Centre in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital, has been released.
This news online outlet reports that Osinachi died on April 8 and was claimed to be a victim of domestic violence. Peter Nwachukwu, her husband, was detained on April 10 after the late singer’s younger brother reported the incident to the police.
The Federal Capital Territory Police Command said on Monday, April 25, 2022, that it had handed the case of the late Ekwueme singer to the Directorate of Public Prosecutions, giving an update on the matter, particularly the Osinachi autopsy report.
The following day, the Osinachi case was transferred from the Lugbe Police Division to the State Criminal Investigation Department.
On Monday, Josephine Adeh, the command’s Police Public Relations Officer, declared the case was no longer under investigation.
The command’s Police Public Relations Officer said, “The case is no longer with us. It is now with the DPP in the office of the Attorney General.”
