BREAKING: A Three-story Building In Lagos Falls, Trapping Many People
Touchaheart reports that a three-story building in Lagos State’s Ebutte Meta area has collapsed.
Around 9 p.m. on Sunday, the building on Ibadan Street reportedly caved in.
As of the time of reporting this story, the building’s occupants were still trapped.
At the moment, personnel from the Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service, the Lagos State Ambulance Service (LASAMBUS), and the Lagos State Building Control Agency (LASBCA) are on the site.
A large crowd was visible in front of the building in a video of the incident that was published on social media.
The state fire service said: “An alert of a collapsed of a three storey building by 32 Ibadan Street, Ebute Meta was received at 21:48 hours, Sunday with Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service already at the scene.
“Search and rescue ongoing with updates to follow, please.”
