Atiku Abubakar defeats Nyesom Wike and wins the PDP Presidential ticket for 2023
Atiku Abubakar has been elected as the PDP’s presidential candidate for 2023.
Atiku Abubakar, a former Vice President of Nigeria, has won the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Presidential Primary Election, which is being held in the National Stadium in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital.
According to this online news outlet, Atiku received 371 votes to clinch the PDP Presidential nomination for 2023, defeating his closest challenger, Governor Nyesom Wike, who received 237 votes. Bukola Saraki, the former Senate President, came in second with 70 votes.
