All About Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee Celebration

Britain’s four-day public holiday begins with a Trooping the Colour in celebration of Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee.

During the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee festivities in London, crowds assemble on The Mall.

As part of Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee festivities, members of the Band of the Household Cavalry march in the Queen’s Birthday Parade, known as Trooping the Colour.

During the Trooping the Colour parade at Horse Guards, the Queen’s guards march.

During the Trooping the Colour procession, the Irish Guards’ regimental mascot, “Turlough Mor” (a.k.a. Seamus), marches down The Mall.

The Queen’s Birthday Parade, also known as the Trooping the Colour, is part of Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations. Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, waves to the crowd as she arrives in a carriage.

Prince William, Duke of Cambridge, riding his horse along The Mall in his duty as Colonel of the Irish Guards, and Princess Anne, Princess Royal, riding her horse in her role as Colonel of the Blues and Royals.

On their route to fire ceremonial guns, the Kings squadron of royal horse artillery rides down the Mall.

During the Trooping the Colour procession, Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, Princess Charlotte, Prince George, and Prince Louis of the United Kingdom travel in a carriage.

Along The Mall, people celebrate Britain’s Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee.

Prince Charles, Prince of Wales, Prince William, Duke of Cambridge, and Princess Anne, Princess Royal of the United Kingdom leave Buckingham Palace for the Queen’s Birthday Parade, the Trooping the Colour, as part of Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee festivities.
