Touchaheart Nigeria reports that the President of the Nigerian Senate, Ahmed Lawan, is currently meeting with executives of the Parliamentary Staff Association of Nigeria in a closed-door meeting.
The Senate President’s meeting with the National Assembly Workers, according to this online news platform, began around 4:30 p.m. on Friday, June 10, 2022, when the Senate President arrived at the National Assembly complex.
Touchaheart Nigeria reports that despite inviting the press to the meeting, members of the executive refused to let them into the complex.
Meanwhile, Touchaheart recalls that PASAN went on an indefinite strike on Monday, June 6, 2022, when the National Assembly administration failed to honor the conditions of a Memorandum of Understanding it signed with the National Assembly Workers on full payment of salary and allowance arrears.
