Olukayode Ariwoola Has Been Sworn In As Acting CJN By Mr. President

Touchaheart reports that President Muhammadu Buhari has sworn in Justice Olukayode Ariwoola to serve as the country’s acting chief justice (CJN).

This online news source reports that Justice Olukayode Ariwoola took the oath of office on Monday, June 27, 2022, in Abuja, the nation’s capital.

Touchaheart Nigeria reports that Justice Olukayode succeeded Ibrahim Tanko Muhammad, the CJN who had just resigned on Monday for medical reasons.

The seniormost Justice of the Supreme Court is Justice Ariwoola, who was born on August 22, 1958.

After being transferred from the State High Court of Oyo State, the acting CJN, who had previously served as a Justice of the Court of Appeal, was raised to the Supreme Court bench.

Meanwhile, Touchaheart Nigeria reports that between 1959 and 196, Justice Olukayode Ariwoola began his academic career at Iseyin, where he attended the Local Authority Demonstration School, Oluwole, in the Iseyin Local Government of Oyo State.
