Ada Ameh, Popular Nollywood Actress Is Dead
Ada Ameh, a Veteran Nollywood actor of the popular series the Johnson dies at age 48 in Warri.
The Nation said that the well-known actress, who lost her 30-year-old daughter Aladi Godgift in October 2020, died in Warri, Delta State, at some point on Sunday night at about 11 p.m.
The 48-year-old actress died in a hospital in Delta state on Sunday, July 17. She was said to have been a guest of an oil company’s topshot and his family when she suddenly slumped.
She was rushed to the hospital where she was confirmed dead. In June 2022, she mentioned that she had been battling mental illness.
She reportedly died en route to the hospital run by the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), despite being taken there urgently.
Ameh, who played the role of Anita in the movie ‘Domitilla’ in 1996, is famous for her comic characters, especially in the series, The Johnsons.
The well-known actress, who was born in Ajegunle, Lagos, on May 15, 1974, posted a video of herself eating with her family on Sunday at 12:53 p.m. on her official Instagram page.
