The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has given Senator Ademola Adeleke, the victor of the recently held Osun State governorship election, a certificate of return.
On Wednesday, Adeleke picked up the certificate of return from INEC’s Osogbo headquarters.

Recall that Gboyega Oyetola, the incumbent governor, received 375,027 votes from the APC, while PDP candidate Adeleke received 403,371 votes.
On November 27, 2022, when the current governor’s term is set to expire, he will be sworn in.
He thanked the wonderful people of Osun for trusting him with their ballots while praising INEC for the way the elections were handled in his victory speech.
