The local currency closed on Tuesday morning, July 26 2022, at N665.00 per $1, and it started today, Wednesday, July 27, 2022, at N710.00 per $1 on the parallel market, also referred to as the black market, in Lagos, Nigeria.

Touchaheart reports that the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) does not acknowledge the parallel market, sometimes known as the black market, the dollar to naira exchange rate opened at 710 for $1 today. As a result, the central bank advised anyone in need of foreign currency to contact their bank, reiterating that the I&E window is only known exchange.

The players purchase a dollar on the black market for N665 on Tuesday morning, July 26, 2022, and sell it for N670 after purchasing N670 and selling it for N710 on wednesday morning, July 27, 2022.

Meanwhile, Touchaheart Nigeria reports that the USD started this week at ₦658 in Parallel Market also known as Black Market on Monday, 25 July 2022, in Lagos Nigeria, after it opened at ₦615 last week Monday 18 July 2022.
