The local currency opened at N710.00 per $1 at the parallel market otherwise known as the black market, today, Wednesnday, September 14, 2022, in Lagos Nigeria after it closed at N706.00 per $1 on Tuesday, September 13, 2022. This represents a change in N4 from the previous day.

Even though, TOUCHAHEART reports that the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) does not recognize the parallel market, sometimes known as the black market, the dollar to naira exchange rate opened at 710 for $1 today. As a result, the central bank advised anyone in need of foreign currency to contact their bank, reiterating that the I&E window is the only known exchange.

Touchaheart Nigeria reports that in the black market, the players buy a dollar for N707 and sell for N710 on Wednesday, September 14, 2022, after they bought N703 and sold for N706 on Tuesday, September 13, 2022. This means the exchange rate changed its position from the previous day.
