Queens Elizabeth II’s Burial: UK Embassy In Nigeria
On Monday, September 19, the British High Commission‘s offices in Abuja, Lagos, and other parts of Nigeria will be closed in honor of the late Queen Elizabeth II’s burial in London.
On Friday, the United Kingdom made this announcement on its official Twitter account for Nigeria, @UKinNigeria.
It said, however, that the UK Visa Application Centres in Abuja and Lagos will not be affected by the closure.
The statement read, “Our British High Commission offices in Abuja, Lagos, and across the country will be closed on Monday, September 19th, 2022 in observance of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral. UK Visa Application Centres in Abuja & Lagos remain open. God Save the King!”
