Police Nab Offering/Prayer Request Theif At Akure
Touchaheart Nigeria reports that the Nigerian police have apprehended an offering, tithe and prayer request theif at Akure Road.
The suspect Opeyemi Olufemi was intercepted by policemen on stop and search duties along Igbara Odo/Akure Road, he was riding on a motorcycle with a school bag containing different denominations of Naira notes.
He could not explain the source of the money nor give accurate account of the total amount of money in the bag.
He later confessed to have stolen the money from a church offering vault at CAC church Ikeji Arakeji in Osun State. The money was sorted and counted by police and it amount to #620,115.
He stole including people’s prayer requests put inside the offering.
