Many Trapped As Fire Destroys Lagos’ WAEC Office
Fire accidents occurred at the West African Examination Council (WAEC) office in Yaba, Lagos, and another building at Onipanu.
Before the fire started, some of the staff who resume work at WAEC as early as 7:30am were already in their offices.
Although the origin of the incident could not be determined, some officials claimed that an electrical surge was to blame.
It was discovered that some of the employees were hurt while trying to flee the premises.
The scene has been mobilized with emergency services.
