Speaker Of Taraba HOA Resigns
Prof. Joseph Albasu Kunini, Speaker of the House of Assembly for Taraba State, has resigned from his position for personal reasons.
The Deputy Speaker, Hammanadama Ibn-Abdullahi, who presided as Speaker pro tempore during the meeting, read the letter containing his resignation notice to the lawmakers on Wednesday.
The new speaker was chosen by all of the legislators to be John Kizito Bonzena, the Chief Whip of the Assembly and representative of Zing State Constituency.
