See Officer Who Shot Female Lawyer, Bolanle Raheem
An image of the policeman who is suspected of killing Bolanle Raheem, a female attorney, on Christmas Day in the Lagos state neighborhood of Ajiwe, has been circulated on the Internet.
Inibehe Effiong, a lawyer, published the image online. He identified the policeman as ASP Ayuba.
The attorney was allegedly assassinated by the Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP), who had a gun in his hand, while she and her husband were driving in the state’s Ajah region. It was said that Raheem, who was with family members, was stopped by the nameless policeman from the Ajah Police Station and his colleagues.
She was taken to a hospital where she was later determined to be dead after the policeman shot Raheem.
Benjamin Hundeyin, a spokesperson for the Lagos police command, confirmed the event and revealed that the suspect was an Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP), adding that the officer and two others had been taken into custody.
