Brighton defeats Liverpool 3-0, with goals from Welbeck and March
At the American Express Community Stadium on Saturday, Brighton & Hove Albion defeated Liverpool three goals to nil with goals from Solly March and Danny Welbeck.
After the first half ended scoreless, March gave the hosts the lead and added a second in 47 and 53 minutes, respectively.
Danny Welbeck, a former player for Manchester United and Arsenal who scored the third goal for Roberto De Zerbi’s team in 81 minutes, received assistance from the 28-year-old English attacker.
Welbeck, who entered the game in place of Evan Ferguson in the 66th minute, scored his first goal of the campaign.
Brighton, which has won its previous two games and is in seventh place on the log, is ahead of Jurgen Klopp‘s team.
Liverpool has 28 points and is eighth. On the other hand, they have dropped their last two contests.
