Recall that Voting started at 8:30 am today amid tight security on Saturday, February 25, 2023 and has ended in most polling units across Nigeria.
Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, the All Progressives Congress (APC )’s Presidential candidate, has won in his Lagos voting district. He triumphed over Atiku Abubakar, the PDP’s nominee for president, and other contenders in his electoral district.
Around 10:20 am, Tinubu cast his ballot at Ward 3, Polling Unit 85, Alausa, Ikeja, Lagos State, Nigeria’s commercial hub. While there were 324 registered voters in the polling place, just 43 were accredited voters.
The previous governor of Lagos received 33 votes, while PDP only received one. YPP received one vote, while Labour Party received eight.
