The winner of the just concluded 2023 presidential election, Bola Ahmed Tinubu has sent a message to his fellow contestants, promising to work with them in his rule to straighten Nigeria’s Democracy

After Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) chairman Mahmood Yakubu declared Tinubu the winner on Wednesday morning, Tinubu formally acknowledged his election as president of Nigeria.
Touchaheart recalls that candidates from 18 different political groups fought it out for the top position in the country.
Giving his victory acceptance speech this morning, Tinubu thanked all those who participated in Saturday’s election with particular mention of ‘Articulated’, ‘Obidients’, ‘Batified’ and ‘Kwankwasiyya’ supporters.

He said: “Whether you are BATified, Atikulated, Obidients, or Kwankwasiyya, I must thank you for working hard to straighten our democratic system.”
Addressing those who contested the position with him, he said: “Let’s collaborate and work together. I promise to work with you.”
“It’s my turn actually,” elated Tinubu reiterated in his address at the party’s secretariat in Abuja on Wednesday.
Tinubu added: “I am profoundly humbled to serve as the 16th President of our beloved country. This is a shining moment in the life of any man and an affirmation of our democratic existence.
“I take this opportunity to appeal to my fellow contestants to let us team up together. It is the only nation we have. It is one country and we must build together.”
