Soludo Urges Anambra Residents To Vote APGN in Assembly Elections
Anambra State Governor, Chukwuma Soludo has urged the state’s electorate to vote for All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) candidates in the March 11 State House of Assembly election.
Soludo made the request via his Press Secretary, Christian Aburime, who spoke to reporters in Awka on Saturday.
He stated that voting for APGA candidates during the election would assist him in maintaining the state’s development pace across the state’s 21 local government areas.
The governor stated that the best way for the people to support his administration’s development efforts was to vote for APGA
He explained that massive support for APGA candidates would allow him to work and bring more democratic dividends to the state.
“If we have APGA in control of the State Assembly, we will continue to do our jobs unhindered. “However, if the opposition is allowed to have their way, development will be stalled,” he said.
Soludo promised that if the people voted for the party’s candidates, Anambra would become Nigeria’s most secure, business-friendly, livable, and prosperous state before the end of his first term.
The governor also urged journalists to always report on issues that will help to maintain the state’s already existing peace.
On March 11, only the state House of Assembly election will take place in Anambra.
