The legal team for the Labour Party met with representatives of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on Monday, March 13, to begin the process of inspecting the voting materials used for the most recent presidential election, which took place on February 25, 2023.
According to a report from Channels Television, the chief of the Labour Party’s legal team, Dr. Livy Uzoukwu, is overseeing 60 attorneys and will brief reporters following the conference.
Recall that Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress was proclaimed the winner of the presidential election, but the Labour Party is contesting the results.
