Zenith Bank Appoints Dr. Juliet Ehimuan as Non- Executive Director

 

Dr. Juliet Ehimuan has been appointed as a Non-Executive Director by the revered Board of Directors at Zenith Bank Plc, effective from the 29th day of August in the year 2023.

Her journey spans more than 25 years, covering Technology, Oil & Gas, and New Media across regions such as Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. In this diverse experience, Juliet stands as a strong advocate for Innovation, Transformation, and Leadership.

 

Her commendable 12-year tenure at Google showcases her essential role in expanding the company’s influence in Nigeria and West Africa. During this time, she championed initiatives to improve digital access, promote local content, develop skills, foster entrepreneurial growth, drive innovation, and create partnerships with private sector and government entities.

 

Dr. Ehimuan’s influence extends beyond business, leaving a mark on Nigeria’s tech landscape and the larger African continent. Her involvement in committees shaping Nigeria’s national broadband strategy and ICT incubation plan highlight her dedication to shaping Africa’s technological future.

 

Dr. Ehimuan’s achievements have been recognized with several awards for her contributions to Africa’s digital landscape. She holds positions on various boards in industries like Finance, FMCG, Oil & Gas, Education, and social enterprises.

 

Her educational journey is equally impressive, including a Doctoral degree in Business from Walden University, an Executive MBA from London Business School, a Postgraduate degree in Computer Science from the University of Cambridge, and a first-class BSc in Computer Engineering from Obafemi Awolowo University.

 

Her academic accomplishments include the London Business School Global Women’s Scholarship and recognition as a Selwyn College Scholar and a Malaysian Commonwealth Scholar at Cambridge University. She is also affiliated with the Cambridge Commonwealth Society as a Fellow. Her achievements include being awarded IT Personality of the Year in 2012 by the Nigeria Computer Society, the Digital Personality of the Year in 2016 by Marketing World, and the Titans of Technology award in 2015 from Technology Africa.
