    Nollywood Industry Gets New Leadership as Amb. Queen Blessing Ebigieson Assumes Chairmanship of Film Guilds of Federation

    Amb. Dr. Queen Blessing Ebigieson, the National President of the Association of Movie Producers of Nigeria, AMP, has officially been sworn in as the Chairman of the Federation of Registered Nollywood Guilds and Associations.

    Her swearing-in, which took effect on March 7, 2026, marks another significant step in the continued growth and coordination of Nigeria’s vibrant film industry.

    With this new responsibility, Amb. Dr. Ebigieson is expected to play a pivotal role in strengthening collaboration among stakeholders across the industry, including government institutions, guilds, associations, diaspora partners, and supporters of Nollywood.

    Speaking on the new role, the AMP president pledged to promote unity, innovation, and sustainable growth within the industry. She also expressed her commitment to initiatives that will enhance Nollywood’s global visibility and competitiveness.

    Industry stakeholders have welcomed her emergence with optimism, expressing confidence that her leadership will bring renewed progress, stronger cooperation among guilds, and further advancement of the Nigerian film sector on the global stage.
