Think Big International Scholarships

Brief Description:

The University of Bristol has invested £3 million which will be used to encourage the top and brightest overseas students to enroll at the University of Bristol. For courses beginning in 2023, Think Big Undergraduate Scholarships and Think Big Postgraduate Scholarships are offered.

Any full-time undergraduate program at the university, with the exception of those in medicine, dentistry, and veterinary science, as well as any one-year full-time postgraduate program and one of the two approved two-year programs in social work (MSc) or law (MA).

Scholarship value/inclusions:

Undergraduate international students may only apply for scholarship awards worth between £6,500 and £13,000 per year toward the cost of tuition.

International postgraduate students may only apply for scholarship awards worth £6,500, £13,000, and £26,000 per year toward the cost of tuition.

A £3,000 living expense stipend for the first year of study may also be available to applicants.

Eligibility:

You can apply for a Think Big Scholarship if you:

are classed as an overseas student for fee purposes AND
If you have applied to begin a full-time undergraduate program at the University of Bristol in September 2023 (with the exception of those in medicine, dentistry, and veterinary science), a one-year full-time postgraduate program, or one of the two-year programs in social work (MSc) or law (MA), you are eligible.

How To Apply:

You can submit an application for the Think Big Undergraduate and Postgraduate Scholarship using the International Scholarships online application form.

Deadline:

The deadline for undergraduate scholarships is 27 February 2023, 10 am (UK time). The deadline for postgraduate scholarships is 24 April 2023, 10 am (UK time).

Assessment process:

Successful applicants will be contacted on or before 6 April 2023.

Unsuccessful applicants will be notified shortly after.

The Think Big Development Programme is another option available to students who receive Think Big scholarships.

This is a practical, customized curriculum designed to give scholars direction, support, motivation, and a framework for achieving and realizing their potential outside of the classroom. Learn more details about the program.

If you apply for this scholarship, you will also automatically be considered for any other University of Bristol international scholarships that you are eligible for. You do not need to submit two separate applications.
