2024 Budget: N15.9b allocated to Tinubu, Shettima, and aides for travels
President Bola Tinubu, Vice President Kashim Shettima and their aides are to spend the sum of N15.961 billion on international and local travels in 2024.
The amount is specified within the 2024 Appropriation Bill, currently under review by the National Assembly.
If approved by the federal legislature, he would spend the total of N6. 992 billion on foreign trips and N638. 535 million on travels within the country.
Likewise, Vice President Shettima’s travel expenses would amount to a total of N1.847 billion for both foreign and local travels.
As outlined in the budget proposal, he is allocated N1.229 billion for foreign travels and an additional N618.399 million for local travels.
An additional sum of N6.484 billion was allocated for Villa Headquarters international and local travels.
