DIG Joseph Egbunike of Onitsha, Anambra State, southeast Nigeria, reportedly slumped and died in his Abuja office in the late hours of Tuesday, March 8, 2022, according to this internet news portal.
Until his death, DIG Joseph Egbunike was the chairman of the Special Investigation Panel set up by the Inspector General of Police, Usman Baba, to look into charges of money laundering against Abba Kyari, the suspended chief of the Police Intelligence Response Team.
