TOUCHAHEART – Presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar has accused the Tinubu-led administration of secretly diverting public funds through fuel subsidy payments, lacking transparency and accountability.

Atiku reacted to the presidency’s statement, highlighting the shady nature of the fuel subsidy regime, which deters investments in the oil sector.

He questioned the conflicting statements from government officials and the refusal to disclose subsidy payments.

_International Reports Contradict FG’s Claims_

The World Bank and IMF have reported that Nigeria still pays petrol subsidies, contradicting the government’s claims.

Even an APC member has revealed that subsidy payments continue.

Atiku urged the Tinubu administration to own up to their policies and be accountable to Nigerians.

He called on the National Assembly to investigate and oversight the matter, ensuring transparency and accountability in the use of public funds.
