The Super Eagles at the just concluded African Cup of Nations (AFCON 2023) event hosted by Ivory Coast.
The finals was played in Cote d’Ivoire between The Super Eagles and the host country team.
Nigeria mauled South Africa (4-2) while Ivory Coast defeated DR CONGO (1-0) to reach the finals.

According to Dr. Odegade, “As a patriotic citizen, it is always a great honour to wear the green-white-green colours of Nigeria and support ourselves in any part of the world, this is one of the reasons we are here too.”
