Mazi Nnamdi Kanu Hires Top Nigerian lawyer To Represent Him In Court
Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has engaged a prominent Nigerian lawyer to represent him in his fight against the Federal Government.
Nnamdi Kanu, the arrested leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), a Nigerian secessionist group, has enlisted the help of another Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Chukwuma Machukwu Umeh (SAN), to bolster his legal team.
Mazi Nnamdi Kanu’s plan to engage a prominent Nigerian lawyer was revealed by one of his lawyers, Aloy Ejimakor, on Monday evening, March 14, 2022, according to this online news portal.
“Just exited from a groundbreaking visitation with Onyendu Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. It was groundbreaking because we covered many new grounds, including the addition of Chukwuma Machukwu Umeh (SAN) to the Legal Team.
“Onyendu sends his love and felicitation to all his true followers,” Ejimakor wrote on his social media page.
Touchaheart reports that Kanu’s lawyer, Ifeanyi Ejiofor, announced Chief Mike Ozekhome (SAN) as the leader of the defense counsel for Nnamdi Kanu on January 18.
Mazi Nnamdi Kanu was scheduled to appear in court before Justice Binta Nyako at the time to face the Nigerian government’s 15-count accusation against him.
Meanwhile, Touchaheart Nigeria report that Biafra activist Nnamdi Kanu is facing treasonous allegations leveled against him by President Muhammadu Buhari’s government.
