Adamu Declares Ahmed Lawan As APC Consensus Candidate
Ahmed Lawan has been named the APC Consensus Candidate by Adamu.
Touchaheart reports that the All Progressives Congress (APC), Nigeria’ ruling party, is in disarray following the national chairman, Senator Abdullahi Adamu, announcing Ahmed Lawan, the President of the Nigerian Senate, as a consensus presidential candidate.
According to reports, Adamu named Ahmed Lawan as the APC Consensus Candidate at the APC National Working Committee (NWC) meeting on Monday, June 6, 2022, in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital.
Meanwhile, Touchaheart Nigeria recalls that other candidates, including Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, Dr. Kayode Fayemi, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, and David Umahi, would be allowed to run in the APC Presidential Primary tomorrow, Tuesday, June 7, 2022, in Eagle Square in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital.
