House of the Dragon episode 2 live stream (“The Rogue Prince”): Watch online (date, time)
It’s easy to say that the opening episode of House of the Dragon last week got folks excited for what was to follow. It appears that after three years have passed since the Game of Thrones series finale, viewers may be able to get that sour taste out of their mouths and return to George R.R. Martin’s world with anticipation rather than despair. But so far, only one episode has been released. Please do not curse me.
We first saw the Targaryens in episode one, “The Heirs of the Dragon,” which featured Princess Rhaenyra (Milly Alcock) and her parents, King Viserys (Paddy Considine) and a heavily pregnant Queen Aemma (Sian Brooke). Viserys is certain that they are having a boy, which makes him feel quite relieved because all he has ever desired is a son to serve as his heir. His brother Daemon (Matt Smith), who is exceedingly immature, impetuous, and irresponsible, thinks he might be the legitimate successor.
Things get much more difficult when Viserys dies giving birth to their son and losing Aemma. Rhaenyra is designated as the heir, but I have a feeling things won’t go smoothly from here on out.
As the second episode title teases, Daemon probably won’t go down without a fight. While we wait for Sunday night, here’s how you can watch House of the Dragon episode 2, “The Rogue Prince.”
