Davido Is Named To The Board Of Wema Bank [Photos]
David Adeleke, better known by his stage name Davido, a Nigerian artist, signed a partnership with Wema Bank on Friday.
Touchaheart Nigeria reports that on Friday, the DWM CEO announced the news in an Instagram story.
This comes only weeks after bank officials travelled to Dubai to visit Davido in the aftermath of millions of Naira being contributed to his bank account.
Davido had previously requested that his friends and followers donate one million Naira each to help him clear his Rolls Royce from the port.
The outstanding musician raked in more than 200 million Naira as a result of the occurrence, but he added another fifty million Naira to the pot and donated it to orphanages across Nigeria.
The bank wanted to speak with Davido, but he was out of the country at the time.
The singer on Friday shared a video of the moment he signed the endorsement deal with the bank and captioned it, ”Officially with @wemabank @alat_ng”
